Founded in 2015 by Candice while studying at Webster University in Austria, After Dark was born from a vision to break down the walls between artistic disciplines. What started as a passion project has evolved into a critically acclaimed series, celebrated for its eclectic curation and vibrant atmosphere, and featured in Noisey by VICE.

Our unique footprint spans continents—from iconic venues in American cities to storied spaces in Europe and North Africa, including Bourbon On Division, Palais Wenkheim, Dragonfly Gallery, Woman Made Gallery, and Galerie Lakaye.

Candice’s journey as a curator is rooted in her own practice as a multidisciplinary artist (a painter, photographer, filmmaker, and graphic designer). This insider perspective ensures every event is built on deep respect and understanding for the talent on stage and on the walls.
