Damien James is a self taught writer, who's works have been published in Chicago Reader and New City. He is an activist and an extraordinary artist with expressions of typography and textual drawings.

A lot of his pieces are composed of beautiful creative texts and fonts. His use of words and design are unique to the eye. Damien James has a great way at capturing the audience and making them think about society and its issues such as racism and classism.

In regards to his activism, you can see some of his drawings depicting the late Breonna Taylor, James Baldwin, and George Floyd.
